With a deep desire to explore a career path in the real estate industry, Sophia Silici joined Gardner Team Real Estate as a spring/summer seasonal intern in 2024. Within 3 months, Sophia was offered a full time position, advancing her into a permanent real estate internship where she’ll be spending quality time gaining a diverse knowledge base, hone new skills, acquire marketing and transaction coordination experience, and have greater exposure to the day-in-the-life of a top-performing Principal Broker, and his team.

Sophia plays a key role in launching engaging lifestyle, community, and real estate content for our social media platforms, helping the company stay at top-of-mind by creating and delivering our much anticipated pop-by gifts, is the all-important incoming coordinator for our community events, and does a wonderful job aiding in various responsibilities that help maintain the office flow and culture here – elevating our agent support and client experience.

Sophia’s ultimate ambition is to become a Realtor on a busy real estate team. Supported by mentorship, proven systems, and processes around her, she aims to focus on the art of helping people and gracefully guiding clients through their real estate journey. She also can’t wait to help people realize their dreams of finding the perfect place to call home!

Through exposure and gaining a deeper understanding of our company goals, office culture, high-level marketing, advertising campaigns, personal branding, obtaining business administration skills, practicing time management, creating workflow systems, being highly organized, becoming skilled at coordination & project management, focusing on client relationship management and working by referral, making time to volunteer and be involved in her community, and partaking in personal enrichment through ongoing training, motivational and continuing education opportunities (all while witnessing firsthand the daily grind and various hats worn by one of Oregon’s top-producing Principal Brokers) Sophia will have a well rounded platform with a realistic view of the commitment and expectations that lie ahead, beyond real estate school.

Once Sophia obtains her Oregon Brokerage License, she will leverage her hands-on internship experience to gain a competitive edge in the industry. She plans to enroll in the Premiere Property Group Mentorship Program under Jason’s guidance, and will received personal training on how to research, obtaining records, market analysis, property valuations, typical financing options, negotiation skills, contracts, each stage of a real estate timeline, professional communication, her fiduciary duty, client representation, utilizing new tools and resources, building relationships, and more. This pathway will prepare Sophia to successfully embark on a career in real estate, in addition to likely candidacy for an exclusive Apprenticeship with Jason Gardner, solidifying her role as an official agent of the team.

A Sherwood native and proud alumni of Sherwood High School, Class of 2023, Sophia demonstrated her leadership skills and joyful personality as a captain of the Varsity Arrows Dance Team. When she’s not contributing her talents and infectious energy in the office, she can be found crafting the perfect cup of coffee at Dutch Bros in Sherwood, where she continues to hone her customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring local eateries, indulging in retail therapy at her favorite shops, and creating lasting memories. She is thrilled to be part of the Gardner Team and is enthusiastic about the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead in discovering a path towards a real estate career.
